GOD SPEAKS TO US THROUGH HIS HOLY WORD

15 Do not love this world nor the things it offers you, for when you love the world, you do not have the love of the Father in you. 16 For the world offers only a craving for physical pleasure, a craving for everything we see, and pride in our achievements and possessions. These are not from the Father, but are from this world. 17 And this world is fading away, along with everything that people crave. But anyone who does what pleases God will live forever.  - 1 John 2:15-17(New Living Translation).

GOD'S PROMISE TO US FROM HIS HOLY WORD

17 The Lord hears his people when they call to him for help.
He rescues them from all their troubles.
- Psalm 34:17(New Living Translation).

THOUGHTS TO REMEMBER

A friend is the first one to walk in when the world walks out.
- From Reminisce Magazine -

Spend your life lifting people up, not putting people down.
- From Highlighted In Yellow -

To make the most of your time on earth, always keep heaven in mind.

NOTES

Today has been mostly sunny with some clouds floating around this afternoon.  High temperatures were in the mid nineties.  After lunch I came by the post office and then home.  After a nap I went to Walmart for a few items.  I went to the cemetery.  Later I went to a Dollar General Store.  It was too hot to sit out this evening.  The cat picture tonight is Emmy.  She is the mother of Beau and Leo.  She is a small cat but she had six kittens.  Five of them lived.  She is now spayed.

The cats are fine.  Most are outside.  I think Smokey is in one of the bedrooms.  Rascal was in a little while ago.  Little Girl is on top of the van.

At 10:25 p.m. skies are fair with a temperature of 85 degrees.  Have a Wonderful Restful Worshipful Sunday!  I will see you next time.

In Christian Love, Everett.
