GOD SPEAKS TO US THROUGH HIS HOLY WORD

2 Your tongue plots destruction;
       it is like a sharpened razor,
       you who practice deceit.
- Psalm 52:2(New International Version).

GOD'S PROMISE TO US FROM HIS HOLY WORD

 20 The Lord protects all those who love him,
      but he destroys the wicked.
- Psalm 145:20(New Living Translation).

A QUOTE

Only Jesus is completely worthy of all our worship and praise.

A THOUGHT TO REMEMBER

Worry doesn't help tomorrow's troubles, but it does ruin today's happiness.

NOTES

Today has been mostly sunny with some clouds floating around.  High temperatures have been just above 90 degrees.  I had lunch with Charley and went to the post office.  After my nap I went to Country Mart for a few items.  Can you guess which cat took a nap with me this afternoon?  It was too warm to sit out this evening but I put out the cat food and fresh water.  I watered a couple of trees.  The cat I am sending tonight is Little Girl showing her tongue.  She is the oldest cat that I have.  She loves me and gets in my lap quite often when I am relaxing in my recliner here in the den.  This den is her home.  She seldom goes to other parts of the house except when the cleaning lady is using the vacumn here in the den.  Then she will come and find me if she can.

I have a special prayer request tonight.  Pray for my great nephew, E. J. Renfro.  He lives in Arizona and is in the hospital now.  He has had leukemia for several years.  He is the son of my nephew and wife, Fred and Ruby Renfro, who live in Mesa, Arizona.

The cats are fine.  Most are outside including Little Girl who is on top of the van.  Rascal was just by to see me a little while ago.

At 10:50 p.m. skies are fair with a temperature of 83 degrees.  I will see you next time.

In Christian Love, Everett.
