GOD SPEAKS TO US THROUGH HIS HOLY WORD

 1 The Lord detests the use of dishonest scales,
      but he delights in accurate weights.
- Proverbs 11:1(New Living Translation).

GOD'S PROMISE TO US FROM HIS HOLY WORD

18 The Lord is close to the brokenhearted;
      he rescues those whose spirits are crushed.
- Psalm 34:18(New Living Translation).

A QUOTE

See! See! He cometh! He maketh the clouds His chariots! He rideth upon the wings of the wind!
- John Wesley -

A THOUGHT TO REMEMBER

You can't change the past, but you can ruin the present by worrying over the future.
- From Reminisce Magazine -

NOTES

Today has been mostly sunny with a few clouds now and then.  High temperatures were around 90 degrees.  I had lunch, went by the post office and then I went and voted.  I hope everyone voted today.  If you don't vote then you shouldn't complain.  I layed down for my nap about 1:30 and got up a little after 3:00 p.m.  My daughter, June, arrived from Yukon, Oklahoma, about 4:00 p.m.  She will be with me most of this week.  June and I sat out with the cats this evening.  My neighbor, Darel Duvall, came and visited with June and me in the back yard.  He brought some cucumbers and tomatos from his garden.  He said he would bring more tomatos later.  June has been busy since she arrived with me telling her to settle down and rest.

The cats are fine.  They are used to June since she has been here before.  Little Girl is on the lamp table tonight.  Smokey was here a little while ago.  Rascal just came in and is rubbing my legs.

At 10:35 p.m. skies are fair with a temperature of 81 degrees.  I will see you next time.

In Christian Love, Everett.
