GOD SPEAKS TO US THROUGH HIS HOLY WORD

1 O Lord, you have examined my heart
      and know everything about me.
2 You know when I sit down or stand up.
You know my thoughts even when I’m far away.
3 You see me when I travel
and when I rest at home.
      You know everything I do.
4 You know what I am going to say
even before I say it, Lord.
5 You go before me and follow me.
You place your hand of blessing on my head.
6 Such knowledge is too wonderful for me,
too great for me to understand!
- Psalm 139:1-6(New Living Translation).

GOD'S PROMISE TO US FROM HIS HOLY WORD

4 True humility and fear of the Lord
lead to riches, honor, and long life.
- Proverbs 22:4(New Living Translation).

A QUOTE

You may trust Him in the dark.

THOUGHTS TO REMEMBER

Antiques are the things one generation buys, the next generation gets rid of and the following generation buys again.  - From Reminisce Magazine -

I would rather have it and not need it, than need it and not have it.
- From Reminisce Magazine -

NOTES

Today has been a sunny day with high temperatures in the mid nineties.  After having lunch with Charley and Bill I went by the post office, then came home and rested for a while.  Later in the afternoon I went to Country Mart and Walmart.  This evening I sat in the yard with the cats and read for almost two hours.  There are not many things that I had rather do than sit in the yard with my cats.

The cats are fine.  Little Girl is on the couch.  She stayed outside all night last night.  I tried to coax her inside several times last night but she preferred to stay outside but was ready to come in this morning.

At 10:25 p.m. skies are fair with a temperature of 83 degrees.  Have a Wonderful Sunday!  I will see you next time.

In Christian Love, Everett.
