GOD SPEAKS TO US THROUGH HIS HOLY WORD

18 Yet the LORD longs to be gracious to you;
       he rises to show you compassion.
       For the LORD is a God of justice.
       Blessed are all who wait for him!
- Isaiah 30:18(New International Version).

GOD'S PROMISE TO US FROM HIS HOLY WORD

 (Jesus said) 19 “I also tell you this: If two of you agree here on earth concerning anything you ask, my Father in heaven will do it for you. 20 For where two or three gather together as my followers, I am there among them.”  - Matthew 18:19-20(New Living Translation).

A QUOTE

Teach me to feel another's woe,
To hide the fault I see;
That mercy I to others show,
That mercy show to me.
- Alexander Pope -

THOUGHTS TO REMEMBER

When prosperity comes, do not use all of it.
- From Reminisce Magazine -

Life is like a bath - a wrong turn can leave you in hot water.
- From Reminisce Magazine -

NOTES

Today has been partly cloudy with high temperatures around 90 degrees.  After lunch I went by the post office.  Later in the afternoon I went to Walmart.  I attended church tonight.  We studied about faith again tonight. When I came home I sat in the yard with the cats for almost an hour.  It was getting dark when I came in and a few fireflies were flitting around.  (Is flitting a good word?)

The cats are fine.  Little Girl is on the couch.  The rest are around somewhere close, some on the porch, some elsewhere.  I just let Itty Bitty in through the front door.

At 11:00 p.m. skies are fair with a temperature of 82 degrees.  I will see you next time.

In Christian Love, Everett.
