GOD SPEAKS TO US THROUGH HIS HOLY WORD

23 Let us hold tightly without wavering to the hope we affirm, for God can be trusted to keep his promise.
- Hebrews 10:23(New Living Translation).

GOD'S PROMISE TO US FROM HIS HOLY WORD

11 So now Jesus and the ones he makes holy have the same Father. That is why Jesus is not ashamed to call them his brothers and sisters.  - Hebrews 2:11(New Living Tranlation).

A QUOTE

If God is no respecter of persons, then His purpose in one life is as meaningful to Him as another life - your life.
- Larry Lewis -

A THOUGHT TO REMEMBER

The secret to enjoying life is to be thankful for what each day brings.
- From Reminisce Magazine -

NOTES

Today has been mostly sunny with high temperatures in the mid seventies.  Today I went to Taco Bob's, then to the post office, then to Walgreens to pick up a prescription, then to a Dollar General Store and then to Walmart.  I most always see some of my friends every where I go here in McAlester.  I told you last night that my lawn had been mowed but I didn't do it myself as I am not physically able to do it.  I hire a friend to mow my lawn.  I made a big mistake last night in the Good Things.  I don't know if anyone noticed it but I showed the date as Friday, April 16, 2010.  I probably make a lot of mistakes that I don't catch.  Sometimes I think about stopping the Good Things but then I get to thinking that if I am helping to encourage someone along the road to Heaven then it is worth my time and effort in spite of the mistakes.  If I ever miss sending the Good Things, don't be concerned because sometime I  might decide to stop sending them.

The cats are fine.  Happy has not come home yet.  I don't know why God has not answered my prayers to bring him home but I will just have to accept it even though it hurts and has caused me lots of tears.  I know some of you may not understand, but my cats are very special to me.  I know that I am special to them from their actions toward me.  A lot of times they will look at me and talk and of course I always talk to them.

At 10:20 p.m. skies are fair with a temperature of 65 degrees.  I hope each of you have a Happy Easter!

In Christian Love, Everett.
