GOD SPEAKS TO US THROUGH HIS HOLY WORD

22 You were cleansed from your sins when you obeyed the truth, so now you must show sincere love to each other as brothers and sisters. Love each other deeply with all your heart.  - 1 Peter 1:22(New Living Translation).

GOD'S PROMISE TO US FROM HIS HOLY WORD

9 What we do see is Jesus, who was given a position “a little lower than the angels”; and because he suffered death for us, he is now “crowned with glory and honor.”  - Hebrews 2:9(New Living Translation).

A QUOTE

As we share God's love with people today, we must make our message sound attractive.
- T. Daniel Casey -

A THOUGHT TO REMEMBER

The art of silelnce is as great as the art of speech.

NOTES

We had a thundershower around noontime that lasted an hour or so.  The weather cleared and the grass dried enough for me to get the lawn mowed this evening.  There is no need for me to keep telling you every day that I have lunch with Charley.  I will just tell you when something keeps us from having lunch together.  I went to the post office and Walgreens.  If you would like to be dropped from the Good Things send me an e-mail and tell me.  There will be no hurt feelings or no questions asked.  I am listening to the Florida Boys as I type the Good Things singing some of the old Southern Gospel songs.  The Florida Boys are as good as any group in singing Gospel songs.  They are now singing a song that makes me think of Flonnie, "Beyond The Sunset".  I had to stop and listen as they sang that song.

Happy has not come home as yet.  I am still hoping and praying and asking my neighbors when I talk with them.  The other cats are fine.

At 8:55 p.m. skies are partly cloudy with a temperature of 64 degreees.  I will see you next time.

In Christian Love, Everett.
