GOD SPEAKS TO US THROUGH HIS HOLY WORD

11 So you also should consider yourselves to be dead to the power of sin and alive to God through Christ Jesus. 12 Do not let sin control the way you live; do not give in to sinful desires. 13 Do not let any part of your body become an instrument of evil to serve sin. Instead, give yourselves completely to God, for you were dead, but now you have new life. So use your whole body as an instrument to do what is right for the glory of God.  - Romans 6:11-13(New Living Translation).

GOD'S PROMISE TO US FROM HIS HOLY WORD

41 The sun has one kind of glory, while the moon and stars each have another kind. And even the stars differ from each other in their glory. 42 It is the same way with the resurrection of the dead. Our earthly bodies are planted in the ground when we die, but they will be raised to live forever. 43 Our bodies are buried in brokenness, but they will be raised in glory. They are buried in weakness, but they will be raised in strength. 44 They are buried as natural human bodies, but they will be raised as spiritual bodies. For just as there are natural bodies, there are also spiritual bodies.  - 1 Corinthians 15:41-44(New Living Translation).

NOTES

Today has been mostly sunny with high temperatures in the low eighties.  I had lunch with Charley.  I went to the post office.  At 1:30 p.m. I had an appointment with Dr. Michael Boyer.  I will now get the injections for my back in McAlester rather than driving to Oklahoma City.  I sat in the back yard and read for a little while this evening.  It was quite windy.  The cats came out also.  My daughter, June and her husband, arrived back home in Yukon, Oklahoma, today.  They have been in Hawaii for the winter.  That kind of travel is not for me at my age.

Happy is not home as yet but I have faith and hope that God will answer our prayers and bring him home.  The other cats are fine.

At 9:25 p.m. skies are fair with a temperature of 74 degrees.  I will see you next time.

In Christian Love, Everett.
