GOD SPEAKS TO US THROUGH HIS HOLY WORD

12 It is foolish to belittle one’s neighbor;
      a sensible person keeps quiet.
- Proverbs 11:12(New Living Translation)

GOD'S PROMISE TO US FROM HIS HOLY WORD

(Jesus said) 29 "And everyone who has given up houses or brothers or sisters or father or mother or children or property, for my sake, will receive a hundred times as much in return and will inherit eternal life. 30 But many who are the greatest now will be least important then, and those who seem least important now will be the greatest then."  - Matthew 19:29-30(New Living Translation).

A QUOTE

Jesus Christ opens wide the doors of the treasure house of God's promises, and bids us go in and take with boldness the riches that are ours.  - Corrie ten Boom -

THOUGHTS TO REMEMBER

It's never too late to be what you might have been.
- From Reminisce Magazine -

It's not how old you are but how you are old.

NOTES

Today has been mostly sunny with high temperatures in the forties.  I had lunch with Charles.  I went to the post office and then to Walgreens to leave a prescription.  I was a little tired tonight and my back was aching a little so I didn't make it to church.

Two years ago this evening I lost my darling Flonnie.  Life has not been easy for me since that time and I will never feel at home again without her.  I went to the cemetery this afternoon.  The Lord knows that I am ready to join her when He is ready for me but until then I will take care of our cats.  The cats, my children, other relatives, my church and  friends make my life worthwhile now.

At 9:35 p.m. skies are fair with a temperature of 34 degrees.  I will see you next time.

In Christian Love, Everett.
