GOD SPEAKS TO US THROUGH HIS HOLY WORD

(The words of Jesus as He was praying to the Father) 3 "And this is the way to have eternal life—to know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, the one you sent to earth."  - John 17:3(New Living Translation).

GOD'S PROMISE TO US FROM HIS HOLY WORD

(The words of Jesus speaking to John) 17 “Anyone with ears to hear must listen to the Spirit and understand what he is saying to the churches. To everyone who is victorious I will give some of the manna that has been hidden away in heaven. And I will give to each one a white stone, and on the stone will be engraved a new name that no one understands except the one who receives it."  - Revelation 2:17(New Living Translation).

A QUOTE

Draw near to God, and He will draw near to you.  Keep near to the fountain-head, and with joy shall you draw water out of the wells of salvation.  - Gardiner Spring -

THOUGHTS TO REMEMBER

There must be some reason people's ears were made to stay open and their mouths made to shut.

Gossip travels freely, but good news has to be helped along.

NOTES

Today has been mostly sunny and cool with high temperatures in the mid fifties.  I went to my cousin, Audie Harmon's house, around noontime to visit with a relative and her son who live near Modesta, California.  Also a relative who lives in the country east of Norman, Oklahoma, was there.  I enjoyed my visit at Audie's house very much.  Later I brought lunch home to eat.  This afternoon I went to Petsmart store and Walmart Neighborhood Market.  I took my nap this afternoon.

The cats are fine.  As is often the case, Beau is asleep behind me in the computer chair and I am sitting on the edge of the chair (silly old cat loving man).  Emmy, Leo, Rascal and Smokey have also been in and out of my study while I have been doing the Good Things.  My cats have dry food out all the time for them to eat and I also feed them canned food about twice a day. They are wanting some canned food at this time.

At 6:55 p.m. skies are mostly cloudy with a temperature of 48 degrees.  Have a wonderful Sunday!  I will see you next time.

In sincere Christian Love, Everett.
