GOD SPEAKS TO US THROUGH HIS HOLY WORD

26 If anyone considers himself religious and yet does not keep a tight rein on his tongue, he deceives himself and his religion is worthless. - James 1:26(New International Version).

GOD'S PROMISE TO US FROM HIS HOLY WORD

9 That if you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved. - Romans 10:9-10(New International Version).

A QUOTE

A pessimist sees the difficulty in every opportunity. An optimist sees the opportunity in every difficulty. - Winston Churchill -

THOUGHTS TO REMEMBER

Everyone either adds too or subtracts from the happiness of those with whom they come in contact. - From Reminisce Magazine -

Happiness is a road to travel, not a goal to reach. - From Reminisce Magazine -

Our God can be reached any hour of the day or night and every day of the year - including weekends and holidays. - From The Bible Promise Book -

NOTES

Rain started in our town around 8:00 a.m. today and it is still raining and is expected to continue most of the night. The rain is gentle and not too heavy. High temperature today was 59 degrees and the current temperature is 55 degrees. I had lunch with Charley and Bill. Brianna was our waitress today. I went to the post office and then to an auto supply store and had new wiper blades installed on my van. I went to Walgreens to pick up a prescription. I had a nap and Smokey was with me part of the time. I gave the cats their treats around 5:00 p.m. Thanks for reading and writing to me. In the next paragraph is a very important prayer request.

Brianna asks us to pray for Dillan McCoy, a 12 year old boy who was run over by a car last night March 12. He was taken by helicopter to St. Francis hospital in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Last word was that he was off the ventilator but still unconscious. On the return trip the helicopter crashed. One person was killed and two were hospitalized. Please pray for these as well as their families.

The cats are fine. Rascal is on the sofa tonight and I feel a little tired and will rest in my recliner chair. I have seen all the kitties this evening.

Have a nice Saturday,

Everett.
