Good Things

GOD SPEAKS TO US THROUGH HIS HOLY WORD

21 If your enemy is hungry, give him food to eat; if he is thirsty, give him water to drink. - Proverbs 25:21(New International Version).

GOD'S PROMISE TO US FROM HIS HOLY WORD

8 Be self-controlled and alert. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour. 9 Resist him, standing firm in the faith, because you know that your brothers throughout the world are undergoing the same kinds of sufferings. 10 And the God of all grace, who called you to his eternal glory in Christ, after you have suffered a little while, will himself restore you and make you strong, firm and steadfast. 11 To him be the power for ever and ever. Amen. - 1 Peter 5:8-11(New International Version).

A QUOTE

Your life and mine shall be valued not by what we take...but by what we give. - Edgar Allen -

NOTES

Today has been mostly cloudy with a high temperature of 38 degrees. I had lunch with Charley and Bill. I went to the post office. I then went to Walgreens to leave a prescription and then came home. I took a nap this afternoon with Emmy, Friendly and Smokey. I gave the cats their treats inside around 5:00 p.m. Thanks for your notes and thanks for reading the Good Things.

The cats are fine. Rascal is the only one with me in the den at present. I have seen all of them this evening.

Have a nice Tuesday,

Everett.
