Good Things

GOD SPEAKS TO US THROUGH HIS HOLY WORD

24 He (Jesus) himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, so that we might die to sins and live for righteousness; by his wounds you have been healed. - 1 Peter 2:24(New International Version).

GOD'S PROMISE TO US FROM HIS HOLY WORD

25 In the beginning you (Lord) laid the foundations of the earth, and the heavens are the work of your hands. 26 They will perish, but you remain; they will all wear out like a garment. Like clothing you will change them and they will be discarded. 27 But you remain the same, and your years will never end. - Psalm 102:25-27(New International Version)

A QUOTE

If you're too busy to laugh, you're too busy, period. - From Reminisce Magazine -

Keep praising God from whom all blessings flow. - From Our Daily Bread -

NOTES

Today has been a cloudy day with a high temperature of 44 degrees. I had lunch at Taco Bobs with my brother, Charley, his son, Paul, and Paul's two young granddaughters. Brianna was our waitress today. I went to the post office. I came home, took an afternoon nap with about three cats (I think). At 4:15 p.m. I made a trip to a Dollar General Store for some washing detergent, coffee filters and a bottle of Gatorade. I gave the cats their treats inside tonight. I have been doing that a lot lately due to the bad and cold weather. I had several notes from people who said they were happy to see the Good Things. I will try to do them more often as time goes along. Thanks for your notes and thanks to everyone for reading the Good Things.

The cats are fine. Emmy is on a desk near me eating some dry food. Rascal is in the recliner chair. I have seen all of them this evening.

Have a Wonderful Sunday,

Everett.
