Good Things

GOD SPEAKS TO US THROUGH HIS HOLY WORD:

30 Then I (wisdom) was the craftsman at His (the Lord's) side, I was filled with delight day after day, rejoicing always in His presence, 31 rejoicing in His whole world and delighting in mankind. - Proverbs 8:30-31(New International Version).

GOD'S PROMISE TO US FROM HIS HOLY WORD:

21 But now a righteousness from God, apart from law, has been made known, to which the Law and the Prophets testify. 22 This righteousness from God comes through faith in Jesus Christ to all who believe. There is no difference, 23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, 24 and are justified freely by His grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus. - Romans 3:21-24(New International Version).

A QUOTE:

If you really want the best, choose Christ. - Morris Weigelt -

THOUGHTS TO REMEMBER:

A happy person is too busy to worry in the daytime and too sleepy to worry at night. - From Reminisce Magazine -

It's not enough to acknowledge another's achievement. Celebrate it! - From Reminisce Magazine -

Love is the magnet that that draws believers together and attracts unbelievers to Christ. - From Our Daily Bread -

NOTES :

Today has been a partly cloudy day with a high temperature of 87 degrees. I had lunch with Charley. I went to the post office and then to Walgreen's to pick up the prescription that I ordered yesterday. I took a nap this afternoon with Tony. At around 6:05 p.m. I put treats out for the cats and sat with them several minutes. Thanks for reading the Good Things.

The cats are fine. Tony is with me now lying on a desk near me. Rascal has been here a few minutes ago. I have seen all of them this evening. Lucy has a twin. I saw a cat across the street the other evening and I called "Come on Lucy!" But it wasn't Lucy. It could almost be her twin but has a black spot in the midst of some white. It is a beautiful cat and I don't know who it belongs to. The house directly across the street from me is vacant. That is where Tony came from. It comes out of the yard next to the house directly across the street. A single lady lives there and very seldom comes out of her house. She works sometimes at night. I don't know who the cat belongs to but it is not friendly as yet. Old Everett has been putting out some dry food in front of the patio door and it slips up and eats. Eventually it will be friends with me I think.

Have a nice Thursday. Everett
