Good Things

Tuesday, June 17, 2014

GOD SPEAKS TO US THROUGH HIS HOLY WORD:

25 O Lord, save us; O Lord, grant us success. 26 Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord. From the house of the Lord we bless you. - Psalm 118:25-26(New International Version).

GOD'S PROMISE TO US FROM HIS HOLY WORD:

(Jesus said) 2 "In my Father's house are many rooms; if it were not so, I would have told you. I am going there to prepare a place for you. 3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am." - John 14:2-3(New International Version).

A QUOTE:

We must adjust to changing times but still hold to unchanging principles. - Jimmy Carter -

THOUGHTS TO REMEMBER:

Adding up your blessings will multiply your joy. - From Reminisce Magazine -

Each person is a unique expression of God's loving design. - From Our Daily Bread -

Sorrow looks back, worry looks around, and faith looks up. - From Reminisce Magazine -

NOTES:

Today has been partly cloudy with a high temperature of 91 degrees. I had lunch by myself today at Taco Bobs. Charley had an appointment with a doctor in Muskogee. I didn't go since riding in a car a lot makes me tired and he said he didn't need me. I went to the post office. I went by Walgreen's to leave a prescription, then to the Petsense store, then to Walmart. By that time I was really tired so I took my afternoon nap with Smokey and Tony. I put treats outside for the cats at around 6:05 p.m. and sat with them for a few minutes. Thanks for reading the Good Things and thanks for your emails.

The cats are fine. Rascal is the only one with me at present. He is on a desk near me grooming himself. I have seen all my kitties this evening.

Have a nice Wednesday. Everett
