Good Things

GOD SPEAKS TO US THROUGH HIS HOLY WORD:

1 Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see. - Hebrews 11:1(New International Version).

GOD'S PROMISE TO US FROM HIS HOLY WORD:

14 "Because he loves me," says the Lord, "I will rescue him; I will protect him, for he acknowledges my name. 15 He will call upon me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble, I will deliver him and honor him. 16 With long life will I satisfy him and show him my salvation." - Psalm 91:14-16(New International Version).

A QUOTE:

It's never too late to be what you might have been. - George Eliot -

THOUGHTS TO REMEMBER:

The flowers or weeds that spring up tomorrow are in the seeds we sow today. - From Reminisce Magazine -

The pleasures of earth cannot be compared to the joys of heaven. - From Our Daily Bread - When the truth needs to be spoken, when the work needs to be done, when the help needs to be offered . . . dare to make a difference. - From Go For It -

NOTES:

Today has been mostly sunny with a high temperature of 93 degrees. I had lunch by myself at Taco Bob's Fiesta Grill since Charley had a luncheon at his church. Michelle was my waitress today. She has been receiving the Good Things for quite a while. I went to the post office, then to the CVS store, then to the Petsense store and then to Walmart. I bought supplies for my cats and me for a week. I took a nap this afternoon. My cat named Rascal snuggled real close to me all the time that I was napping. I put food, treats and water outside for the animals at around 6:15 p.m. and sat outside with the cats for about 15 minutes.

Tonight I would like to welcome Taylor to the Good Things. She is a waitress at Taco Bob's. Welcome to the Good Things, Taylor.

I know where there is a beautiful calico kitten for anyone who would like to take it and love it. It is about five weeks old and can eat and drink by itself. Now I would love for one of you friends to take this little kitten and love it. If you are interested, I will send a picture and give you the phone number where you can call to get it and bring home to raise and love.

My nine cats are fine. None are with me at present but Rascal just left out and will be back soon I am sure. I have seen all of my cats today.

Have a nice Thursday. Everett
