Good Things
Tuesday, June 3, 2014GOD SPEAKS TO US THROUGH HIS HOLY WORD:
14 But as for me, I will always have hope; I will praise you (O God) more and more. - Psalm 71:14(New International Version).
GOD'S PROMISE TO US FROM HIS HOLY WORD:
4 Surely God is my help; the Lord is the one who sustains me. - Psalm 54:4(New International Version).
A QUOTE:
Do not let what you cannot do interfere with what you can do. - Coach John Wooden -
THOUGHTS TO REMEMBER:
A really happy person is one who can enjoy the scenery when on a detour. - From Go For It -
Temptations will knock at your door; don't ask them to stay for dinner! - From Our Daily Bread - The only way to have a friend is to be one. - From Reminisce Magazine -
FACTS ABOUT CATS:
Domestic cats certainly are loveable. They are also independent as well as smart and sensitive. Domestic cats love to interact with humans, but only on their own terms.
They need affection, care and attention, but the cat decides with who and when. The domestic cat is unique. Blessed. Sacred. - From The Internet -

NOTES:
Today has been partly cloudy with a high temperature of 90 degrees. I had lunch with Charley. I went to Country Mart and then to the post office. I went to my family doctor at 2:30 p.m. He listened to my heart and lungs and couldn't find anything else wrong with me. He wants to see me again in three months. I lay down around 3:30 p.m. with Itty Bitty and I got up at around 6:00 p.m. I put food and treats outside for the cats at 6:30 p.m. but didn't sit with them as my back was hurting a little. I thought about skipping the Good Things tonight and then I thought someone might need them tonight so as you can see, I did them. I don't know how many more days, weeks, months or years that I can do them. I am making the print larger tonight for older people like me with bad eyesight. You younger people will just have to put up with it. Thanks for your emails and thanks for reading the Good Things.
The cats are fine. None are with me at present but Rascal was with me and just left. He will be back before long. I have seen all of them this evening.
Have a nice Wednesday. Everett
