The Gardener...

Sift..soften my rebellious heart

Until it speaks for Thee

So glib...my tongue can form the words

How difficult...to be

From many chambered rooms extract

The dross that dwells therein

Self wrongly calls it 'lapses'

You rightly call it 'sin'

Where sin-rot residue remains

Root-route the evil there

Rend to my heart with blood-bought loam

Under Your Spirit's care

What varied beauty then might bloom

Astounding all who see

Grace-gardened ground where love can flower

A bouquet Lord...for Thee
