Good Things

GOD SPEAKS TO US THROUGH HIS HOLY WORD:

1 O God, you are my God, earnestly I seek you; my soul thirsts for you, my body longs for you, in a dry and weary land where there is no water. Psalm 63:1(New International Version).

GOD'S PROMISE TO US FROM HIS HOLY WORD:

8 "You heavens above, rain down righteousness; let the clouds shower it down. Let the earth open wide, let salvation spring up, let righteousness grow with it; I, the Lord, have created it." - Isaiah 45:8(New International Version).

A QUOTE:

Love is always free to love, and arms are always stretched as wide as the cross toward anyone who needs to be loved. - Eugenia Price -

THOUGHTS TO REMEMBER:

Brightening up the life of someone else will put a fresh shine on your own. - From Reminisce Magazine -

Jesus: His name and His mission are one and the same. - From Our Daily Bread -

May you see sunshine where others see shadows and opportunities where others see obstacles. - From I Wish For You -

NOTES:

Today has been a sunny day with a high temperature of 63 degrees. I had lunch with Charley. As I came home from lunch I went to the post office for my mail and then by Walgreen's to pick up a prescription. At around 1:00 p.m. I went to the Petsense store and Walmart to pick up my weekly supplies for my cats and me. Later I took a nap with Beau, Smokey and Tony. At 6:00 p.m. I put food, treats and water out for the animals. I would ask that you excuse the mistakes that I make and any ramblings that you do not understand. Thanks for your emails and thanks for reading the Good Things.

The cats are fine. Rascal is in the recliner chair and the others have been coming and going. I have seen all of them this evening.

Have a nice Thursday. Everett
