Good Things

GOD SPEAKS TO US THROUGH HIS HOLY WORD:

21 And He (God) has given us this command: "Whoever loves God must also love his brother." - 1 John 4:21(New International Version).

GOD'S PROMISE TO US FROM HIS HOLY WORD:

(The Lord said) 3 "Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know." - Jeremiah 33:3(New International Version).

A QUOTE:

May the Lord grant us an understanding of Him and the wisdom to pass it on. - Randy Kilgore -

THOUGHTS TO REMEMBER:

Heaven comes down to touch us when we find ourselves safe in the heart of another. - From Thank You For Being A Friend -

Praise comes naturally when you count your blessings. - From Our Daily Bread -

When the mouth stumbles, it is worse than the foot. - From Reminisce Magazine -

NOTES:

Today has been a mostly sunny day with a high temperature of 54 degrees. I had lunch with Charley and Bill. I went to the post office to pick up my mail. I then went to Walmart for my weekly supplies. I took a nap with Smokey this afternoon. I put food outside for the animals at around 6:10 p.m. Thanks for your emails and thanks for reading the Good Things.

Tomorrow afternoon I plan to attend a funeral for DeWayne Kennon, age 58. My son, Ron, will be a pall bearer. DeWayne and Ron have been friends since high school days. They played music together in a band when they were teenagers. The cats are fine. Rascal is in the recliner chair as usual. Tony just came in and is eating dry food on a desk near me. Several of the cats eat at different times on that desk. I have seen all the cats this evening.

Have a nice Friday. Everett.

Keep Thinking The Good Thoughts!!!
