GOD'S PROMISE TO US FROM HIS HOLY WORD

A QUOTE
The mind is like the stomach. It is not how much you put into it that counts, but how much it digests. - Albert Jay Nock

FUN FACTS ABOUT CATS
The ball of string, the paper bag, the dangling rope, the things unseen yet swiped at through the crack under the bathroom door, these are the joys of the universe. - From Cats Rule -

NOTES
Today has been mostly cloudy with a high temperature of 82 degrees and a low of 68 degrees. We had a few drops of rain around noontime. I didn't do Good Things yesterday due to a rough day. I had an injection early yesterday morning for my back. Immediately after the injection I had a sick spell which started with dizziness. My brother, Charley, brought me home and helped me get in the house and in bed. I slept most of the remainder of the day. I called the doctor who gave the injection around 4:30 p.m. He didn't understand the reactions that I was getting and told me to get a good nights rest and call him this morning. I got a good nights rest and called the doctor this morning and talked with the nurse. She said the doctor would call me back. He did call back this afternoon but still could not explain the reaction I received from the injection. Last evening I could not even write with my hand due to the tremors. I have felt better today but I had Charley come after me for lunch. I do not plan on using this doctor here again. If I need any more injections in my back I will get someone to take me to the Spine Hospital in Oklahoma City where I used to go. They would not have sent me home in that condition. In fact I don't think that I would have been in that condition. I still don't know what caused the reaction and neither does the doctor. I am feeling much better tonight or I wouldn't be doing the Good Things.
I have received e-mails from these dear people since the last Good Things: Mary Jo, Burlene, Michele, Stan, Lucille, Patti and Alice. I appreciate your e-mails and I also appreciate everyone who reads the Good Things.
The cats are fine. Tony is staying at my house all the time now.
I will see you next time. In Christian Love, Everett.
