GOD SPEAKS TO US THROUGH HIS HOLY WORD
8 Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things. - Philippians 4:8(New King James Version).

GOD'S PROMISE TO US FROM HIS HOLY WORD
11 As you know, we consider blessed those who have persevered. You have heard of Job’s perseverance and have seen what the Lord finally brought about. The Lord is full of compassion and mercy. - James 5:11(New Interantional Version).

,br /> FUN THOUGHTS ABOUT CATS

,br /> NOTES
You already received part of the Good Things. I hit the send button by mistake. I think I am getting slower as I get older and as I have said before, I probably ramble a lot in my notes. Hitting the send button tonight before I was ready is an example of what is happening to me. It has been another hot day in McAlester, Oklahoma. High temperature today was 101 degrees with a low temperature of 68 degrees. The forecast is for another week of this hot weather. I guess I have felt better today. I had lunch with Charley. I went to the post office and then to Walgreens to check on a prescription. I took my afternoon nap with Little Girl and Smokey. I put treats outside for the cats and fresh water but I didn't sit out due to the heat. I have been staying inside except when I have to go outside. I will try to send three pictures tonight.
The cats are fine. Rascal is asleep on the desk beside my computer. I have seen all the cats today including Lucy the stray. A little while ago I heard some loud meowing. I went to see who it was and it was Smokey with a grasshopper. He laid it on the floor and then moved away so some one else could have it. Every time Smokey catches something and brings it in he always lets out those loud meows like a mama cat calling her kittens.
I will see you next time,
In Christian Love, Everett.
