Good Things

GOD SPEAKS TO US THROUGH HIS HOLY WORD
3 You will keep him in perfect peace, Whose mind is stayed on You (the Lord), Because he trusts in You. - Isaiah 26:3(New King James Version).

GOD'S PROMISE TO US FROM HIS HOLY WORD
1 How great is the love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are! The reason the world does not know us is that it did not know him. 2 Dear friends, now we are children of God, and what we will be has not yet been made known. But we know that when he appears, we shall be like him, for we shall see him as he is. 3 Everyone who has this hope in him purifies himself, just as he is pure. - 1 John 3:1-3(New International Version).

NOTES
Today has been mostly sunny with a high temperature of 90 degrees and a low temperature of 73 degrees. June and I attended Worship Services this morning. We had a wonderful service. June and I had lunch at home. I sat outside for a few minutes before my afternoon nap. I took a nap this afternoon without a cat. When I got up from my nap we went to the cemetery for a few minutes. We watched the Lawrence Welk show from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m. The program today was broadcast originally in 1972. We did not have church services tonight. Pastor J. T. and wife, Dianne, their daughter, and baby grandaughter, left after church for Beaumont, Texas, to attend the Memorial Service of J. T.'s mother tomorrow. June and I went outside with the cats at 6:00 p.m. and stayed for over an hour. I will send three pictures tonight. As always I thank you for your e-mails and for reading the Good Things.
The cats are fine. I think they are all outside at present. We have seen all of them today.
I will see you next time,
In Christian Love, Everett.
