Que's Occasional Views

7:46 A.M. Temperature: 32%F; Humidity: 75, Forecast: sunny. Martin Luther King, Jr. Holiday: A reminder that there is still much to accomplish in achieving racial, religious, and ethnic harmony in this country (and around the world). It is obvious that there is great hostility among ethnic and religious groups. The news daily carries that message. Tolerance does not mean agreement but it means some understanding and empathy with others unlike ourselves. Those of us who call ourselves Christian should be out there in front calling for end of hostilities and demonstrating love toward those of other racial, ethnic, religious, and cultural backgrounds. Christ taught that we were to love not only others like ourselves but even our enemies. I would encourage you to take time this holiday to meditate on these issues and pray for those different from yourself. Que

Im also from NMBeach today by way of Wash. DC, Iam a strong christian and I try to link those lines together between all ethinc groups, I interact with all people b/c I am a Christian I love all people, I am also a poet, and would like to know how to submit onto this site.
