GOD SPEAKS TO US THROUGH HIS HOLY WORD
14 As obedient children, do not conform to the evil desires you had when you lived in ignorance. 15 But just as he who called you is holy, so be holy in all you do; 16 for it is written: “Be holy, because I am holy.” - 1 Peter 1:14-16(New International Version) .

GOD'S PROMISE TO US FROM HIS HOLY WORD
5 This is the message we have heard from him and declare to you: God is light; in him there is no darkness at all. - 1 John 1:5(New International Version).

A QUOTE
God has not called me to be successful; He has called me to be faithful. - Mother Teresa -

THOUGHTS TO REMEMBER
Do more than hear: Listen. - From Lists to Live By -
Success is often just an idea away. - From Reminisce Magazine -

GOD'S GREAT OUTDOORS
Many people are attracted to ladybugs because of their coloring. Ironically, their spots and colors are meant to make them unappealing to predators. - From Fun Facts from the Great Outdoors -

NOTES
Today has been a sunny day in McAlester, Oklahoma with a high temperature of 54 degrees. I had lunch with Charley. I went to the post office to pick up my mail. At the post office I ran into some good friends that I hadn't seen since I moved back to McAlester, Oklahoma, Don and Wanda Henderson. They live in the country southeast of McAlester. I took a nap in early afternoon with my cats, Beau and Emmy. At 3:30 p.m. I went back by the drop box at the post office to mail a letter. I went on to Walmart for a few items. Since last nights Good Things I have heard from Geneva and Annette and it is always nice to get e-mails.
The cats are fine. Little Girl is on the back of the couch and Rascal is in the recliner. The others have been accounted for this evening.
Have a Great Wednesday ! I will see you next time,
In Christian Love, Everett.
