by Everett Christian, McAlester, OKSaturday, October 1, 2011
GOD SPEAKS TO US THROUGH HIS HOLY WORD

GOD'S PROMISE TO US FROM HIS HOLY WORD

A QUOTE
We serve a loving God who is ready to forgive our pride and restore us to Him. - James Hampton -
THOUGHTS TO REMEMBER
Good character, like good soup, is usually homemade. - From Reminisce Magazine - The worst failure is failure to try. - From Reminisce Magazine -
NOTES
I had lunch with Charley. While I was out I went to the post office, Walgreens and Walmart. I took my afternoon nap with Beau at first and then he left out and Rascal came and snuggled with me. My housecleaning lady came at 4:00 p.m. and cleaned my house. It was sometime after 6:00 that I went out back to feed the cats their treats, put out cat food for the animals and put out fresh water for the cats. My neighbor, Bill Gibson, from the apartments across the street came to the fence and we visited for a few minutes. I used to work with him at H&R Block. Since yesterday's Good Things I have heard from Burlene, Mary Ellen, Geneva, Kathy and Michelle. Thanks to each one who comments on the Good Things and thanks to everyone who reads the Good Things. The cats are fine. Little Girl is on the blanket on the couch. Rascal was just here checking on me and eating a bite of food. Today has been a sunny day with a high temperature of 80 degrees. Low temperature this morning was 42 degrees. At 9:55 p.m. skies are mostly clear with a temperature of 60 degrees. I will see you next time. Have a Wonderful Sunday!
In Christian Love, Everett
