THOUGHTS TO REMEMBER

It takes 72 muscles to frown, but only 14 to smile. - From "The Power Of Encouragement".

NOTES
I had lunch with my brother, Charley, and my pastor and wife, J. T. and Dianne Carnell. I went to Country Mart and then to the Post Office. I have been thinking that perhaps I should leave the notes out of the Good Things. I felt that people might be giving too much credit to me rather than the other parts, especially the Scripture Verses which are notes from God. I talked with Dianne about that and she thought that I should continue the notes so thats what I will do for the present. J. T. said people want to hear about my cats. I took a nap in early afternoon. At 6:15 I went out with the cats. I read until dark which was about 7:15 and then I came in. Since last nights Good Things, I have heard from Burlene, Michelle and Alice. I appreciate all the e-mails.
The cats are fine. Beau and Rascal both joined me part of the time while I was napping. Friendly stays out a lot but comes in occasionally for food. Itty Bitty divides her time between sleeping inside and going outside. Emmy stays out most of the night and sleeps inside all day. Leo comes in at times both at night and during the day. Smokey stays inside a lot but does spend some time outside. Little Girl stays here in the den all the time, only going out occasionally. Lucy the stray is an outside cat. She will come in once in a while to see what is going on and to eat a little food. Rascal checks on me quite often and he was just in here for a minute and then went back outside. Rascal likes to sleep in my lap occasionally. Little Girl wants to lay on my chest up close to my neck and purr. She will do that 2 or 3 times a day. Tony from across the street has been in tonight a couple of times. Leo just came by and nibbled a little food. I am trying to give you a play by play description of my babies (cats). Today has been a sunny day with a high temperature of 77 degrees. Low temperature this morning was 56 degrees. At 9:45 p.m. skies are mostly clear with a temperature of 58 degrees.
I will see you next time, In Christian Love, Everett.
