Prayer, a peaceful moment with the Lord�

When I�m burdened, His sweet peace is my answer;

He pours on me His goodness, what a loving Savior!

Jesus shows His compassion on His precious child,

The object of His care I�m, I�m glad in His presence.

Before Him I can tell my whole struggle here,

His gentle voice comforts, no more worry or fear.

Jesus gives security for my soul; I know He is there,

In His everlasting arms daily I walk in victory.

His Spirit guides each step; His deep love touches me,

When I feel abandoned, Jesus is always my true friend.

His Word is my strength, near to Him I�m blessed,

My life shines for His tender mercy cheers me up.

His love is the only one that I need in this world;

How the power of His blood set me free today!

I begin my day with praising His holy name;

His faithfulness I see day and night, prayer is beautiful!
