Symphony of the Day

                                                     Symphony of the Day

The crescent moon on the sky shines brightly,

Welcoming today with the warmth of His love.

Renewed is my heart to seize the day that He gives,

Seeing God’s goodness till the night comes again!

Whatever befalls, Jesus cares about my struggle,

Sorrow and pain may multiply and make me down,

Yet in Jesus only a perfect solace I find!

His love is all that I need when all things go wrong,

What should I fear since God understands me fully?

Praise and adoration belong to Jesus, the King;

Joy and peace kiss the trusting heart.

Like the crescent bowing down before its Maker,

It’s time to celebrate Jesus who sustains us always!

PS: I took this photo around 5.30 from the terrace of my house. The sky was already clear, but there was still the crescent moon there. My heart said "That's so wonderful!" It inspired me to write this poem, that's the sign that God cares and 'today will be so bright', eventhough this pandemic seems to be endless at Jakarta.
