From the Burdens of Sin I Was Saved

From the Burdens of Sin I Was Saved

Hallelujah! Sinners has Jesus redeemed by His blood,

Since I knew Him, from the burdens of sin I was saved.

No longer I walk in the path that leads to death,

The darkest night and all my bitterness Jesus bore.

With Him at my side I can resist every temptation,

More mature in Christ Im from trial to trial.

The power of His Spirit guides me to keep faithful;

Gods Word strengthens me to always prevail.

If far Im from Jesus, the emptiness disturbs me,

Yet being humble before Him peace I attain.

Joy arises as I serve day and night at His temple;

Spreading His love to others is my pleasure.

How can I forsake the divine revelation of His cross?

Has He made me whole again and regarded me precious.

Theres a liberty flowing in this poor and sorrowful soul.
