At Calvary

�

(I)

At Calvary, there�s atonement for my sins;

Jesus gave His own life, precious is His blood.

Hallelujah echoes, the earth is full of His glory

For He has risen, how deep is His love!

His mercy He shows from day to day,

The object of His care I am, safe in His embrace.

Whenever I am down and I lose courage,

Sweetest comfort always I find in Jesus,

His Spirit strengthens me, His Word beautifies my life.

The clouds of sorrow make me closer to God;

My burdens I cast on Him, now I feel relieved!

(II)

At Calvary, my soul receives His gracious love,

No more condemnation as His love shines.

Bound I am to eternity, precious is each day,

My heart sings praises to my loving Savior.

Walking on the path of righteousness, joy abounds;

Peace of God I attain in every circumstance.

The True Light stays, no longer I sink in fear;

Jesus leads me all the way, all is bright!

(III)

I hear His welcoming voice, so kind and true is He,

He is my deliverer, my wounded soul He wants to heal.

Jesus will always love me whatever befalls,

Yesterday I lived in bitterness and grief;

Today I fly with the Lord and gain my victory!
