POETS (please read)

This poem's not to criticize, point fingers or lay blame -

but it's so nice to read a poem reflecting Jesus' name!

Remember... Christian poets praise their Father up in Heav'n -

so say a prayer and thank Him for this gift that you were giv'n.

Please do not write for reasons that are simply personal -

whether for a money prize, attention, fame and all.

And please don't be a writer who will post so many rhymes -

and right up to the maximum of two, three or four times.

It may take days or even weeks to get ONE poem right -

but when our words reflect our God, it's sure a pure delight.

And if someone should message you, don't let your ego gloat -

but please remember etiquette and thank them that they wrote.

If ev'ry post is not pristine our readers disappear -

so please fine-tune your newest one before you post it here.

Don't miss the joy of reading someone else's poetry -

You may be quite amazed by it- and thanking them is free!

So leave a little 'thank-you' note to poets- old and young -

forgiving disabilities and those of foreign tongue.

And now before I finish, thank the Christians that we owe -

and say a prayer to those who keep this web site on the go...
