        Keep in touch

Did you hear or speak with God today?

Did you feel the need to pray?

Did Jesus presence seem so real?

Even His breath you thought to feel

Sweet hour of prayer, how sweet you are

Standing, kneeling near or far

Within one’s heart You’ve come to dwell

Helping, guiding, to keep from hell

Your gift of prayer is gratis free

Given to share on bended knee

In boats in planes driving a car

We speak my God and there You are

You wait all day, patient each night

To have a word with Your delight

Knowing so oft the things we seek

Oft answers come before we speak

You’d love each child to have the best

Days blessed with peace, sweet nights of rest

Keeping us safe always in view

Eager to share a word with You

Each soul You love with all Your heart

From none of us You want to part

Sinner or saint you’d bless us all

Hating it, when from grace we fall

For through Your grace we seek above

Through fellowship we share much love

On earth to man we’ll speak all day

Only with You; we’ve nought to say

Your Word is true the facts we see

Each time one comes on bended knee

Mountains will move oceans will part

When children speak, with faithful heart.....

About the Poet
I never wrote a word of poetry in my life. Till the day Jesus took my hand and touched my soul.....I invite your response. However most poems are not about me! Very few are. But the feed-back good, bad or indifferent is always desired. Not meant to offend, but I write about many things in many a guise. Of life, death, lost, found, saved, backsliders, new comers, repenting souls, doubting hearts, heathens, Christians, fire, water, Satan's daughter, wallowing in sin, saved, made sound walking in Light, graceful righteous. Suffering, ecstatic, bored, excited, sad, delighted, Sick, well, lame, able, living, dying, etc. etc. etc. Writing about anything, everything and everyone as the spirit leads. All meant to reveal, waken, revive, encourage, shame, help. Gladden, pick up, exalt, portrait, liberate. Again over 99% of my work is not about me. Although at times I write as though I were or am. Speaking e.g. in the first person. This is quite common even in the bible itself. Prophets speak of themselves, then God speaks, again the prophet, then God......Quite often it's difficult to distinguish whom it is that at any given time is speaking or narrating.
