Beside the Still Waters

Bside the Still Waters

Beside the still waters I quietly sit

as God replentishes my heart and my soul

with His everlasting stream of love

whose healing power is strong and bold.

Beside the still waters is where I go

to renew my faith and refresh my soul.

These waters are pure and serene

as they gently flow through my entire being.

Beside the still waters I find refuge

from the storms that come my way.

I can feel His holy presence touch me

every moment of the day.

Beside the still waters I like to walk

where the Lord and I privately talk.

I meander along the edge of the water

with my hand holding on to the hand of my

heavenly Father
