In The Hands of the Potter

 The Hands of the Potter

As clay is in the hands of the Potter

so we too are in the hands of the Father.

When life has you crushed like a clump of clay

do not despair.

You are still in the Potter’s care.

He will shape you by His hand

into a masterpiece according to His plan.

Sometimes it takes time and patience

for the Potter to shape the clay just right.

But, do not fret for He will keep shaping you

as you spin on the Potter’s wheel of life.

If life has crushed you and you feel like

a lump of clay.

The Potter will make everything okay.

For you are like clay in the hands of the Potter.

There is nothing that can ever make Him stop

from placing you on His wheel

and shaping you into the person He wants

you to be.
