Trinity There is a place Solitary and intuitive, a waterfall, A caged dove in a theater, Steps in the damp grass, A pelican on a slow circle Like cinnamon in the morning, Like a message in a bottle tossed to sea, A whisper of smoke in the distance, Desert voices, a forest of wolves Conversations that shadow the ordinary. A place of harbors, the origin of sight, Three voices of God, The Christ. |
