BECAUSE YOU LOVE ME!

Because You love me - I can weather any storm - knowing I am not alone - the rains came to pass - revealing a brand new day - trouble will not last - Because You love me -  I see Your Hand of mercy and grace reaching down for me - in the daily details of my life -  no weapon formed against me will prevail -  You made the weapon - and it will not harm me - your angels guard me - to keep me all of my ways - to walk in liberty and freedom - all

Because You love me!

Because You love me - You gave us Your precious Son, the Lamb of God, Jesus - to show the way to heaven’s gate - through the blood stained trail of the cross - You have strengthened me with power - I can do all things through Christ - Your Spirit leads and directs me with wisdom - even though I can’t see around the corner - I know You are working all things for good - Because You love me - I am confident in whose I am - and before I stand - my trust is in You alone -  all of my help comes from the Lord -  I know that you did not bring me this far - to leave me alone - there is a purpose and plan - I am the redeemed of the Lord - and I say so

Because You love me!

Because You love me - peace like a free flowing river floods my soul - filling me up to the brim - all is well - You sent me the Living Word - made flesh to intercede, as our High Priest - before Your Glorious throne - Your Spirit comforts me -Perfecting me - into paths of righteousness and holiness - Because You love me You never grow weary or tired - everyday is a new day - to rejoice in the goodness of the Lord - I will wait on Your deliverance - Your miracles -  You are worth waiting for - Your timing is perfect - Your love is eternal - everlasting - My heart beats in rhythm with Yours - all

Because You know me and love me!

About the Poet
I was born in Lexington County, SC. I lived in Jacksonville, Florida for many years.I recently moved back home to my home town, Columbia, SC. I have one daughter, Kimberly. I now have two brothers. One went to be with the Lord in January, 2010. My Mom went to be with the Lord, Memorial Day May 28, 2012. Among the things I am grateful for and remembering about her is my salvation. She was a strong passionate woman of God all of her life and a beautiful loving Mother. I was saved and baptized in the ocean in Rota, Spain. What an experience that was! Holy Spirit chased me and drew me to Himself, while I was alone in another country. I surrendered to the Lord, and His peace flooded my soul. It was so beautiful. I am so happy he saved me and redeemed me. I am so happy to share these poems from His heart and mine. Poetry is a release and has inspired and encouraged me and many who have read my poetry. I was blessed to write for a number of years on Crossway Publications and had over 300 poems that I wrote on the site. God has increased my gift with more beautiful poetry. In 2005 my poetic writings seemed to catch the fire of God and have a deeper meaning. I thank God for this chance to share my poetry with all. God Bless...
