The Open Door
We stand before the open door that leads to this new year, A door of opportunities,as cautiously we peer. Looking to the future,the unknown way ahead, but we can go in confidence if by the Lord we are led. Push wide the door and forward go,into this brand new year, follow Jesus all the way,there is no need for fear. His light puts out the darkness,He will lead the way, whatever now the future holds,by your side He will stay. So take His hand and trust Him for all your days ahead, Then through the sunshine and the rain,you will be safely led. |

About the Poet
In Memoriam.
I am now 71yrs of age and fighting cancer.Gave my life to Christ aged ten and He has walked with me through the good times and the bad.I live in a lovely Yorkshire village in England with my Springer Spanniel dog.
