NOTES
Today has been mostly cloudy with a high temperature of 75 degrees. I had lunch with Charley. Brianna was our waitress. I went to the post office and Walgreen's as I came home. I took a nap this afternoon. I think Tony was with me most of the time. I sat out with the cats for a few minutes after 6:00 p.m. As you know there were no Good Things the past two nights. Some nights I just don't get around to it any more and I felt a little bad last night. I may not do them tomorrow night because on Saturday night I watch the Lawrence Welk program and a Billy Graham Classic but I am sure I will be back soon. Thanks for reading and writing to me.
The cats are fine. None are with me at present but Rascal just went out. I have seen all of them this evening.
Have a nice Saturday.

37 Jesus replied: "'Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.' 38 This is the first and greatest commandment. 39 And the second is like it: 'Love your neighbor as yourself.' 40 All the law and the prophets hang on these two commandments." - Matthew 22:37-40(New International Version).
GOD'S PROMISE TO US FROM HIS HOLY WORD
12 Blessed is the man who perseveres under trial, because when he has stood the test, he will receive the crown of life that God has promised to those who love him. - James 1:12(New International Version).
A QUOTE
I expect to pass through life but once. If, therefore, there can be any kindness I can show, or any good thing I can do to any fellow being, let me do it now...as I shall not pass this way again. - William Penn -

NOTES
Today has been a cloudy day. We had some rain that started around 10:00 a.m. and lasted for two or three hours. High temperature today was 60 degrees. Stephanie and Dillon came early this morning and got my house to looking nice again for another week. I had lunch with Charley and our nephew, Denton. I went to the post office. I took a nap and I don't think a cat was with me. I fed the cats their treats inside around 5:30 p.m. It was damp outside. Thank you for reading the Good Things and for writing to me.
The cats are fine. Lucy is asleep on the back of the sofa and Tony is on a desk near me. I have seen all the others this evening.
Have a nice Wednesday,
Everett.

NOTES
When I got up this morning around 6:30 a.m. it was raining. The rain got harder with thunder and slowed a little right after lunch but continued to rain until around 4:00 p.m. My rain gauge showed that I received 3 inches of rain at my house. More rain is to come, maybe tonight and tomorrow. High temperature today was 65 degrees. I had lunch with Charley and Bill. Brianna was our waitress today. I went to the post office. I then went to the newspaper office to pay my paper bill. As always, I visited with my good friend, Pat, at the newspaper office. I then went to the Petsense store for canned cat food. I always have a nice visit with my friend, Laura, at the Petsense store. I took a nap this afternoon. I am not sure if a cat was with me or not. I fed the cats their treats inside tonight since it was wet outside. My oldest daughter, Treva, flew to Hawaii yesterday to visit with my daughter, June and husband Keith for two weeks. She arrived there last evening safe and sound. Treva's cats and dog will really miss her but there is a nice lady that likes animals that will give them special attention while Treva is away. Thanks for everything, notes, prayers and reading the Good Things.
The cats are fine. Leo is on the sofa curled up asleep and Rascal is on a desk near me. I have seen all of them this evening.
Have a nice Tuesday,
Everett.

NOTES
Today has been mostly sunny with a high temperature of 71 degrees. I had lunch with Charley. I went to the post office. I took a nap with Lucy, Tony, and Smokey was there part of the time. Darren and Kathy came this evening and did another outstanding job of mowing my lawn and weed eating. I gave the cats their treats inside this evening around 6:00 p.m. as there was mowing going on in the yard. According to Dianne (Pastor's wife) Pastor JT was resting comfortably today from his gall bladder surgery yesterday but keep him in your prayers. Thanks for reading and writing to me. I don't know how much longer I can continue with the Good Things but we will see.
The cats are fine. None are with me at present but they have been coming and going. I have seen all of them this evening.
Have a nice Saturday,

Today has been mostly cloudy with a high temperature of 80 degrees. I had lunch with Charley and Pastor JT. I went to the post office, then to Walgreen's to pick up a prescription and then to Walmart for my weekly supplies. I took a nap this afternoon with Tony. As soon as I finish the Good Things I will go sit with the cats and give them their daily treats. See the prayer request in the next paragraph. Thanks for everything, notes, prayers and reading the Good Things.
Pastor JT will have outpatient surgery tomorrow on his gall bladder. Your prayers will be appreciated.
The cats are fine. None are with me but I have seen all of them.
