Armor of God
Viewed Last 24 Hours: 1 time

Armour of God

I wear the helmet of salvation that my Father gives to me.

It protects my mind from drifting back to the way I used to be.

On my chest, I wear a breastplate of righteousness,

which helps me not to sin. It keeps my heart from wickedness, and lets no evil in.

I also carry the shield of faith, which blocks each dart that is thrown.

It shows the devil I belong to Jesus, and he must leave me alone.

I also wear the belt of truth that keeps me in God’s way.

I am waiting for the day when Jesus comes back; He could be here any day.

My feet are shod in the gospel of peace; I keep heaven on my mind.

I am rejoicing in God throughout the day, and praying all the time.

The sword of the Spirit is the weapon I carry, showing Jesus is my Lord.

His holy word used righteously, is sharper than any two edged sword.

His hedge of protection is always around me, to guard me every day.

God teaches me to love everyone, remembering them when I pray.

With all this armor, He has given us, the enemy we are able to defeat.

For there is no armor for the back of us, God’s army knows no retreat.
