Truth Truth never screams from the rooftops Or pushes through the crowd Pats itself on the back or shouts out loud No it waits quietly humbly in the wings Standing firm no matter what the future brings It has no need to argue, no need to justify For in time it’s obvious It’s contrast to a lie It will not stand in shadows It shines it’s own pure light In humility it will stand It doesn’t need to fight For Jesus is the way The truth and the light

About the Poet
I live in Queensland Australia with my husband son and daughter. I love the Lord and it is my passion to express my faith in whatever way He inspires me to.
At the moment it's poetry.
