Hidden Beauty
Can I capture beauty Or will it run away Like an innocent child Teasing in its play Can I pin it down With my brush or pen Or will its pure perfection Elude me once again To try to capture beauty Is a futile quest We only touch its edges At the very best Man’s idea of beauty Is strictly by his rules God sees things so differently He doesn’t suffer fools But looks beyond the surface To find a precious gem And in His hands He’ll polish it and then Show it in its beauty To those who want to see His unique and perfect handiwork That’s in you and is in me

About the Poet
I live in Queensland Australia with my husband son and daughter. I love the Lord and it is my passion to express my faith in whatever way He inspires me to.
At the moment it's poetry.
