Twin Tower Tragedy

Terrorism is a token

  Of this world’s depravity

When will this crass curse be broken

  Which side of insanity

Man-made missiles bearing mortals

  Targeting twin towers of trade

Pierce right through explosive portals

  Sparking fires that will not fade

No one will escape the judgment

  On this dastardly dread deed

Power-penned on cosmic parchment

  For the universe to read

Far exceeding hellish fury

  Even Mother Nature scorned

Is the sentence of God’s jury

  All the souls of those now mourned

Is this then the Beast arising

  Must men hail the Antichrist

Love and holiness despising

  Will the whole world be enticed

Trauma is our daily portion

  Tragedy is our dessert

Mangled bodies in contortion

  Nightcap newspersons insert

God’s Name is our true strong tower

  Into which the righteous run

By His Holy Spirit’s power

  All our battles will be won

Elements will melt around us

  Earth and Heaven may dissolve

But we’ll fly no fated airbus

  Whilst New Heaven and Earth evolve
