Endeared Parchment
Viewed Last 24 Hours: 1 time

Endeared Parchment

Words disappear
Hand written upon parchment
Slowly through time
Once bold and determined
Now ghostly and weak
Inscribed secretly

Years have taken toll
Through a dreamy
Misty lovers stroll
Days upon end
Love written in pen

Though the words
Slowly disappear
Upon Parchment once white
Now tanned though the years
The lovers love
Held fast

Through misty dreams
Present to past
The journal of their lives
Unfold their story
Secret memoirs upon
Endeared Parchment
Declaration, affirmation
It will forever last.
