JULY 2009: FIREWORKS GALORE! IT'S THE MONTH OF THE FOURTH OF JULY--THE USA DECLARED ITS INDEPENDENCE FROM ENGLAND! This year there will be thousands of Tea Parties on the Fourth to protest the huge deficit, debt, being laid on the American people by an out of control White House and Congress! And to protest the government taking control of so much in our daily lives! Health Care Reform, Energy Reform, Financial Reform -- all issues in which there is a move to put control in the hands of the federal government! That is my take on it. What is yours? Que

The primary objectives of this site are to honor Christ and give place to experience Poetry. It is indeed Poetry for the whole family from emerging poets of all kinds. These poets take their poetry seriously though not themselves! So read to your hearts content. The poetry varies in both style and content from acrostics to zany, from acrobats to zoos.

1. Positive, optimistic poems

2. Traditional family values

3. Evangelical Christian values (not every poem will be religious in nature but will not contradict these values nor is the poet approving these values by submitting)

4. NO profanity. NO erotica. No personal attacks on other people.

5. Willing to have poems edited for spelling, grammar, punctuation. (Any other editing would be subject to poet's approval before printing.)
