September 2010: Finally! The three "winning" poets from a recent Wordchimes.com contest: GILLENA COX, MICHELLE ANGELINI, and JANE PEARCE. You may wish to go to their poetry pages to read their poetry.
Back to School much in the air! And in the states sounds of politics everywhere! Sept. 11 is Primary Election Day in Maryland. Each party selects the candidates it wants to run in the election in November. And Fall is just around the corner. The first day of autumn is the 23rd here in the states. This coming weekend goes into Monday as Labor Day is a national holiday. Enjoy the last days of summer as we quickly (hopefully) move into fall.
The primary objectives of this site are to
honor Christ and give place to experience Poetry. It is
indeed Poetry for the whole family from emerging poets of
all kinds. These poets take their poetry seriously though
not themselves! So read to your hearts content. The poetry
varies in both style and content from acrostics to zany,
from acrobats to zoos.
