Sunhsine, Lollipops & Rainbows

Sunshine, Lollipops & rainbows

No jumping rope, or climbing of a tree,
nope these are not the hobbies for me
This takes me to all kind of places,
once or twice stopping to tie shoelaces

The sunshine on my face, breeze blowing
gently through my hair, I just dance
and sing, do all kinds of crazy things

I close my eyes as I do spin, arms out
wide to enclose those lollipop and rainbow
dreams, oh how I wish I were a child again,
making up all those childhood crazy kind schemes

I see the face of a brown eyed gal, oh! look
over there, a queen of lace, the sun shinning
so fair upon her regal face

When it all comes to an end,
I sigh for it all came to quick.
The tears fall for just a bit,
then I remember to do this once
again to it there is no trick

I just grab my lollipop, rainbow,
sunshine dreams, then once again
I am on my way, not even one cent
do I have to pay

So if this hobby you do guess,
come along with me as my guest.
We'll search for unicorns, butterfly
wings, why, we can even get back into
those crazy childhood scheme of things
