Live For Jesus

So many people today chase after stars that aren't there.

Don't they know that Jesus is the only one

who will always be standing right there.

He's high above in the stars that shine bright to help get us through

the night.

He's in the sun that sets in the early morning light.

And, the birds that sing to welcome us to the day.

So why chase after a star that isn't there.

Jesus is the King and the ruler of the earth.

We are not in control.

For it is he who created us to live in an image of him.

To speak of his love,

To live right,

in him,

and through him.

So many people are confused today,

they take the wrong path,

they don't know where to go or who to trust.

They chase after things,

and people that don't care.

They haven't found Jesus.

For Jesus is our King.

Let us rejoice and Sing.

For our life hinges on the very balance of him.

He is our saviour,

and our everlasting friend who was sent down to

save us all from sin.

Let our hearts worship him.

For he is the only one who sees us for who we are,

loves us for who we are,

and accepts us for who we are.

But only if we ask for the forgiveness of our sins.
