      Sacred Lament

    With silver moonstrings
    I enlace your feet
    You step into the shadow

    With gossamer wings
    I hover over you
    You brush me away

    With a fountain of color
    I bathe your eye
    You ignore my beauty

    With exotic incense
    I enchant your nostrils
    You forget my fragrance

    With harmonious sounds
    I delight your ear
You do not hear my voice

    With fruit of the vine
    I refresh your mouth
You have no taste for me

    With tender breezes
    I caress your skin
    You cannot feel my presence

What if I should die for you
    Would you love me then?
