All I Need Is You

All I need is You

To hold on to me and give me strength

To never keep me at arm’s length

To sit at Your feet

And hear Your heart beat

And know You will never let me go

To comfort my soul

And make me whole

To give me peace

So I can release

All the pain and rejection inside

You are my Savior, and I’m your bride

I hear Your voice

I can rejoice

In knowing that You’re my best friend

The one that I can depend

You will always be by my side

And will never leave me behind

All I need to do

Is call out to You

And You’re right there

So I will raise my hands and declare

You are the only true living God

The one that I can trust

The one that will never betray

And I can count on Your love everyday

All I need is You

All I need is You, LORD

About the Poet
I'm a wife, full time mother of 7, and a grandmother of 1. I have served in the children's ministry for 14 years. I enjoy sharing Christ with others and writing poems. I believe according to the Scriptures that we should share with one another the things of the Lord and the things of the heart. The author of Ephesians tells us to speak to one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord, giving thanks always for all things to God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.
