Can I Go Now?

Can I Go Now?

Why not, I'm tired
Fought my lifes pathway
the best I could

Fullfilled the proclamation
planned out for me

Never held back
put my all in everything I had done
I'm spent, I want to rest now

It's too hard to travel this weary road anymore
With my heart beginning to shut down
I gaze at the last beautiful sunset
of my earthly life
Praying hope beyond hope that
He hears my anguished cry
in the nyte

Can I go now?
